Job Requirements
- must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver’s license if driving company or personal vehicle during business hours
- ability to communicate effectively with others
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to read and print simple words and sentences
- ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
- knowledge of American measurement units
- use of proper personal protective equipment
- ability to comply with safety protocols
- ability to present professional appearance and conduct
- ability to work well with team members
- willingness to follow all company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

- ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with 10s and 100s
- understanding of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and cooking measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving during business hours with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required
- must have reliable transportation
Job Duties
- floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash to disposal areas
- light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinets and rooms
- complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- taking direction and responding to supervision
- using proper personal protective equipment
- presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- understanding reporting systems and environment maintenance
- transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straightening common areas
- cleaning desktops between events, assisting janitorial staff with restroom and break room restocking, damp mopping floors, restroom and glass cleaning
- restocking and organizing janitorial closets and storage areas, cleaning elevators, spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets, dusting open common spaces
