Currently, E&S Ring Management is seeking a dedicated and skilled Porter/Groundskeeper to join one of its premier residential communities. The Porter/Groundskeeper plays a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall curb appeal of the property. This position directly supports the leasing staff by helping to achieve occupancy goals and promotes resident retention through enhancing the quality of life within the community. The Porter/Groundskeeper ensures adherence to the company’s Mission Statement and policies, thereby fostering an organizational culture aligned with the business's core values.

This role offers a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will showcase their janitorial and groundskeeping service skills while also contributing to process improvements. Responsibilities include cleaning vacant apartments, common areas, and building exteriors, maintaining surfaces and appliances, and ensuring trash disposal areas are odor-free and sanitary. The Porter/Groundskeeper also monitors common area lighting for safety, assists with painting, and reports potential hazards to maintain a secure and pleasant environment.

Ideal candidates possess skills in following oral and written instructions, have a customer service orientation, and are familiar with the safe use of basic tools and chemicals. Experience in custodial, housekeeping, or apartment maintenance is highly desirable. The job requires physical tasks such as climbing stairs, walking the property extensively, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting materials up to 60 pounds. The ability to use equipment such as ladders, dollies, golf carts, shampoo machines, buffers, vacuums, blowers, squeegees, cleaning supplies, paint brushes, and basic hand tools is important.
