This esteemed healthcare system is supported by philanthropy and driven by a deeply rooted faith-based mission.
Baptist Health has established internationally renowned centers of excellence in cancer treatment, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurosciences. For 26 consecutive years, the organization has been named one of Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For, highlighting its commitment to creating an outstanding workplace culture. In the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital Rankings, Baptist Health was the most awarded healthcare system in South Florida, earning 63 high-performing honors that reflect its dedication to quality and patient outcomes.
The heart of Baptist Health's success lies in its people—dedicated professionals who form meaningful connections with colleagues, patients, and their families. The organization fosters an environment where team members support each other through every stage of their careers and personal lives. Their shared experiences with patients drive a culture rooted in purpose, compassion, and the unwavering commitment to improve lives.
This role at Baptist Health offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality food service with a strong emphasis on safety, hygiene, and excellent customer relations. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a critical role in preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals that meet rigorous quality and infection control standards. Your duties will include delivering stock supplies to patient floor kitchens, serving guests while maintaining positive customer relations, replenishing used foods and supplies appropriately, and completing sanitation duties. You may also perform dish room duties and handle payment transactions in accordance with established policies.
Beyond patient meal delivery, this position supports corporate retail dining, catering, and specialized dining outlets such as the Doctors Dining Room by setting up and serving meals, as well as decorating buffet and reception tables as assigned. The role requires the ability to function independently across multiple food service responsibilities and support the training of others, ensuring that all coworkers can work efficiently in providing high-quality food service.
Baptist Health takes pride in nurturing the professional growth of its employees, providing robust career development opportunities, comprehensive health and wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and a unique wellness initiative aimed at reducing out-of-pocket healthcare costs. This inclusive and supportive environment allows you to build a fulfilling career while making a meaningful impact on the community. The estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.49 per hour, depending on experience.
