The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory offers a unique opportunity to be the friendly face behind the bakery case, applying the finishing touches on their iconic desserts, such as cheesecakes and glazed strawberries. This position is part of a high-volume, full-service restaurant team where delivering consistent quality and elevating guest experiences are paramount. The Dessert Finisher/Barista carefully plates and finishes desserts with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring each presentation "wows" customers. The role also involves crafting delicious espresso and specialty coffee beverages using professional espresso machines, supporting seamless front-of-house operations.
This position offers steady and flexible hours, accommodating full-time or part-time schedules, along with competitive hourly wages ranging from $14.50 to $17.25. Job Duties
- Plate and finish desserts with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent presentation
- Operate an espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages
- Accurately follow instructions while upholding food safety and food handling standards, with awareness of food allergies
- Label, date, and rotate products following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
- Work with efficiency, speed, and a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas
- Complete station setup and breakdown, including stocking and closing tasks
- Support teamwork through clear and effective communication
- Multitask and work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- Deliver exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
