The role of Concessions Food Runner at Oak View Group's Enmarket Arena is an integral position responsible for supporting concession operations during live events by ensuring the timely delivery of food, beverages, and supplies between kitchen, storage, and concession stands. Enmarket Arena is a premier 9,500-seat venue where luxury suites and club seating come with outstanding food and beverage services. The arena hosts a variety of entertainment events, including national touring concerts, family shows, comedians, and sporting events such as professional ECHL hockey with the Savannah Ghost Pirates, collegiate, and amateur contests. This position plays a key role in maintaining a seamless and efficient service operation that contributes significantly to a positive guest experience.
Compensation for this part-time role ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions. The Concessions Food Runner collaborates closely with kitchen staff, concessions attendants, and management to ensure orders are accurate, delivered promptly, and meet Oak View Group’s quality standards. Beyond food delivery, responsibilities extend to maintaining cleanliness and organization at delivery and pickup stations, restocking supplies, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines, and supporting other concession duties during peak times such as prep work and cashier responsibilities.
This role is client-facing in many respects, requiring excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly and positive demeanor, and the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or over
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three or more months' experience in food service industry preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to learn and operate a cash register and corresponding system

Job Duties
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders from kitchen and warehouse areas to concessions locations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food pickup and delivery stations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and concessions attendants to coordinate order readiness and resolve any discrepancies
- Verify order accuracy and presentation before delivery to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with restocking supplies and condiments at concession stands as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health regulations
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service, addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly
- Support concession operations during peak hours by helping with basic prep, packaging, or cashier duties when required
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
- Uphold venue policies and contribute to a positive guest experience through professional conduct and teamwork
