The role being offered is a Customer Service Associate position at Walgreens. Maintaining store appearance and organization is essential, including keeping shelves and counters neat, completing pricing and inventory tasks, and constructing attractive promotional and seasonal displays. Associates must understand and comply with company asset protection procedures to reduce profit loss and ensure the store adheres to all laws related to regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco. The role also involves assisting with maintaining a clean and orderly store environment both inside and outside the premises.
The Customer Service Associate is expected to comply with all company policies, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers, complete special assignments as delegated, and participate in training and development programs. Job Requirements
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Prefer six months of retail experience
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
- Ability to resolve customer issues efficiently
- Ability to operate cash register and assist with product recommendations
- Commitment to comply with company policies and procedures
- Capable of maintaining store cleanliness and merchandising
- Able to attend training and complete assigned tasks
- Open to employment with arrest and conviction records
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Recommend sale items, trade-up, and/or companion products
- Assist customers with OTC products and guide them to aisles when possible
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report errors immediately
- Maintain counters and shelves, take inventory, price merchandise, and implement company asset protection procedures
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Construct and maintain displays including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
- Assist with store cleanliness and orderliness
- Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships
- Complete special assignments and attend training as required
