Job Description

Aphrodite is a well-established food manufacturing company specializing in Place & Bake products that include gourmet frozen cookie dough, filled frozen dough cookies, Place and Bake Togas™, dessert bars, and squeeze & bake batter. The company prides itself on producing high-quality bakery products that serve various markets, including nationally recognized hotels, fine-dining restaurants, and caterers, through both branded and private label production. Aphrodite’s dedication to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction has positioned it as a trusted name in the frozen dessert manufacturing industry. The production environment is fast-paced and requires employees who are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality.

Aphrodite is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Mixer Operator on the 1st shift, which runs from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This role is vital in the production process where the Mixer Operator is responsible for preparing dough and other baked goods by following specific recipes and formulas accurately and efficiently. The job involves inspecting and operating mixing equipment, handling ingredients carefully in accordance with the first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory method, and ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain consistent product quality. The ideal candidate will be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients up to 55 pounds and manually adding them to mixers.

This is an hourly position paying $18 per hour, with a Monday through Friday work schedule and major holidays off. The company also offers paid time off after 60 days, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability insurance, and a 401k plan with employer matching. The Mixer Operator will work closely under supervision and must demonstrate the ability to clean and maintain their work area, accurately record production information, and contribute to general housekeeping duties throughout the shift.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States, able to pass a drug test, and willing to comply with the company’s E-Verify requirements.
