As a neighborhood favorite, Take 5 has built a strong reputation for its friendly technicians, expert knowledge in oil changes, and an efficient, customer-friendly process that allows clients to remain in the comfort of their vehicles while their oil is changed. This has made Take 5 a preferred option for drivers seeking fast, reliable, and professional oil change services across the country.
As a company, Take 5 Oil Change is committed to fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for its employees. The company places heavy emphasis on internal promotions, with more than 90 percent of its field leaders having started their careers within the organization. This demonstrates Take 5’s dedication to investing in its people and providing clear career advancement paths, from entry-level positions such as Pit Tech all the way to senior leadership roles like President.
The role of an Oil Change Team Member at Take 5 is perfect for individuals who are self-motivated, energetic, and have a passion for working with cars and providing excellent customer service. Notably, this position requires no previous experience because Take 5 offers comprehensive paid training to prepare team members to perform essential oil change and light maintenance services. These services include changing oil filters, replacing wiper blades and air filters, inflating tires, and other automotive upkeep tasks.
This position offers a competitive salary starting up to $15 per hour, which includes base pay and commission opportunities. The company provides full-time and flexible scheduling options to accommodate a variety of lifestyles and needs. Employees enjoy multiple benefits such as paid time off, health, vision, and dental insurance, weekly bonuses, same-day pay options, and even complimentary oil changes. This makes the Oil Change Team Member role not only a great way to gain valuable hands-on experience in the automotive industry but also a rewarding and supportive job opportunity.
The work environment at Take 5 encourages a team-oriented atmosphere and excellent customer interaction. An Oil Change Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to efficient shop operations and customer satisfaction, such as draining motor oil, washing windshields, adjusting tire pressures, inspecting and topping off fluids, performing coolant exchanges, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping the work area clean. This role is physically demanding and requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and who can lift up to 50 pounds safely.
Overall, joining Take 5 Oil Change means becoming part of a long-standing company that values employee development, competitive compensation, and providing exceptional service. Whether you have prior automotive experience or are new to the industry, Take 5 provides the training and opportunities necessary to help you succeed and advance within the company.
