The company's services are designed to enhance the quality of life in the communities where its employees live and work, consistently aiming for smart, safe, and sustainable project outcomes. At Atlas, the future is viewed as a shared responsibility, and the company prides itself on creating a better experience at every stage of each project.

The company emphasizes professional development, providing extensive training and continuous support to help employees grow and develop expertise in the field. The work environment at Atlas is collaborative and values input from all team members as they contribute to winning and delivering impactful projects. Employees in this role will travel regularly to various construction sites primarily in the West Texas region, with the potential for overnight or weekend assignments as needed.

The job involves performing construction-related field testing and inspections such as soil density testing using nuclear density gauges, and quality control testing of concrete and asphalt materials. Employees must follow rigorous safety protocols, including radiation safety and HAZMAT requirements. The position requires meticulous documentation, communication with project managers, clients, and contractors, and occasional leadership of onsite activities. Daily electronic reporting and assistance with equipment setup are also essential functions. This role supports projects from proposal phases through to completion, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met with precision.

Atlas fosters an inclusive and supportive culture, promoting values like life, heart, trust, and mastery. The company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement plans with company matching, insurance protections, and ongoing learning and development. Employees can expect a work environment focused on safety, professional growth, and community engagement, with flexible work accommodations when possible. Atlas is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to diversity and nondiscrimination across a wide range of protected categories. The company does not engage with unsolicited résumés from recruitment agencies without prior agreement.
