As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Lake Pointe, you will work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment serving a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The ED is a Level 3 trauma center that manages high acuity patients, averaging 100 patients daily and receiving approximately 20-30 EMS ambulance arrivals each day. You will be working in a 20-bed unit with a patient ratio of 4:1, which may increase to 5:1 during patient surges.
This role is critical for delivering timely, expert nursing care, supporting rapid assessment and treatment, and collaborating with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team. The Emergency Department leadership team is dedicated to fostering an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and professional development for every team member. Night shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Capacity to manage high acuity patients and maintain patient safety
Job Qualifications
