The role of a Mixer at C.H. Guenther & Son involves preparing various dry mix products for packaging and sale. This position requires hands-on operation of mixing equipment, accurate weighing of ingredients, and adherence to mixing schedules and batch sheets. As a key part of the production team, the Mixer will be expected to operate forklifts for ingredient transport, maintain cleanliness in the mixing area, and ensure that all mixing activities are properly documented. The role also requires interaction with quality assurance teams by providing product samples. Job Duties
- Help prepare various dry mix products for packaging and sale
- Read and interpret mixing schedule
- Operate forklift to transport and stack ingredients
- Weigh-up ingredients per batch sheet and mix schedule
- Place ingredients in mixer and prepare mix and clean mixers
- Provide QA with product samples
- Maintain clean work environment
- Document mixing activity
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
