The Technician role at Baptist Health is essential for the preparation and handling of sterile products within the Home Infusion Pharmacy setting. This position requires mastery of pharmacy technician functions and minimal supervision while preparing prescriptions and orders, maintaining patient records, and managing the labeling and packaging of sterile compounds. Additionally, the role includes handling sales transactions, answering telephone calls, maintaining pharmacy organization and cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. The estimated compensation for this position ranges from $20.02 to $26.03 per hour, depending on experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • no prior experience required
  • must obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire
  • sterile compounding experience required
  • ability to work under minimal supervision
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to handle sales transactions
