About the Role: Join Naked Farmer’s dynamic kitchen team as a Dishwasher & Porter at their location in Miami, FL. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of the food service operations, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The position involves a variety of critical tasks such as efficiently putting away and rotating produce and food orders, ensuring freshness and longevity. You will inspect all cooking utensils and equipment to guarantee they meet Naked Farmer’s stringent quality and cleanliness standards. Operating kitchen machinery like knives, ovens, grills, food processors, and blenders safely and adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols is a fundamental aspect of the role.
You will set the standard for best practices within the kitchen by consistently following and enforcing food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintaining a spotless work environment by thoroughly opening, closing, and cleaning your station ensures smooth and efficient operations for you and your team. Occasionally, you will assist with food preparation as needed, wash dishes by hand and machine, remove garbage from the restaurant, bus tables, and retrieve dishes from dining areas. The role requires flexibility as you may be asked to take on additional responsibilities to support the kitchen team’s needs at any time.
This position pays between $17 and $17.50 per hour and offers a flexible work schedule to accommodate your lifestyle. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
