Part of The Boyd Group, one of North America's largest providers of collision repair services, Gerber Collision & Glass operates with a strong commitment to integrity, diversity, and excellence. The company prides itself on creating a supportive work environment where employees have the resources and team support necessary to excel and grow in their careers. With a focus on intentional team building and a culture that values every individual’s contribution, Gerber Collision & Glass fosters a workplace where great teams don't happen by accident but are built with intent and driven by the individual’s dedication and performance.

The Porter position at Gerber Collision & Glass is a critical role that complements the company’s commitment to outstanding customer service. This role primarily involves cleaning and preparing customer vehicles before and after repairs, ensuring the shop and office facilities are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, and supporting the overall operational flow of the collision repair process. As a Porter, you will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks that help create a positive customer experience by presenting vehicles in their best condition and maintaining organized and clean workspaces. This position requires a strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a willingness to engage in vehicle transport logistics.

Working as a Porter at Gerber Collision & Glass offers an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a dynamic and expanding team. The role involves daily responsibilities such as pre-washing vehicles, cleaning interiors and exteriors after repairs, keeping the production area tidy, managing parking lots and grounds, and ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly. Porters also support logistical activities by transporting vehicles to sublet locations as needed.

The role recognizes the importance of a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability in delivering WOW experiences to customers. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy being active and take pride in their work to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The company offers competitive compensation ranging from $15 to $17 per hour, commensurate with skills, education, and experience. In addition to a rewarding work environment, Gerber Collision & Glass provides comprehensive benefits that support employees' health, well-being, and career development.

Gerber Collision & Glass’s approach to hiring includes a commitment to fairness and inclusivity, encouraging applicants from diverse backgrounds as well as qualified veterans and individuals with disabilities.
