The Senior Exhibits Manager role at Globus Medical is vital in maintaining and elevating the company’s presence in both domestic and international trade shows and society meetings. This full-time position involves meticulous planning, coordination, and budget management for various exhibitions, encompassing everything from strategic development to logistical execution. The Senior Exhibits Manager interacts closely with multiple departments including marketing, product development, and sales, as well as with Key Opinion Leaders in the healthcare sector. This role demands strong organizational abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Although this position does not involve direct supervision of staff, the Senior Exhibits Manager contributes significantly to team success by proactively identifying challenges and opportunities for process improvements. Responsibilities include managing booth layout design in collaboration with show management and graphic teams, coordinating travel and accommodations, overseeing logistical elements like shipping and booth setup, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Senior Exhibits Manager plays a crucial role in creating effective trade show marketing assets in partnership with the Marketing team and securing products and equipment for demonstrations with Product Development and Marketing Operations. Additionally, collaboration with Surgeon Key Opinion Leaders ensures workshop content remains compliant and impactful. This role requires a dynamic individual who is self-motivated, creative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position involves travel up to 40 percent, supports a culture of ethical business practices, and values teamwork and innovation as core principles. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in meeting and event management or trade show coordination
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn scientific and technical content rapidly
  • Creative and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and manage tight schedules
  • Excellent negotiation and sourcing skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Positive and self-motivated attitude
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel 40 percent
  • Experience in international event planning is an advantage
  • Background in medical device or pharmaceutical events is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of current, relevant meeting and event management experience and/or trade show coordination
  • High degree of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn scientific and technical knowledge

Job Duties

  • Manage booth layout creation and delivery with the show management and graphics department
  • Plan and implement Globus Medical participation in Society conferences and trade shows including hotel, flights, booth services, and shipping
  • Work with management and tradeshow vendors to ensure implementation is within budget and on-time
  • Manage on-site activities including booth set-up, dismantle, reception, workshops, labs and other promotional activities
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to develop all tradeshow marketing assets
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Product Marketing Operations to secure product and equipment for demonstration purposes
  • Collaborate with Surgeon KOLs to ensure the content of workshops is effective and within regulatory and compliance guidelines
