The role of Catering Services Manager at Aramark is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at a specific location. This role involves leading a catering team to ensure that events and catering delivery requests are completed with the highest customer satisfaction and service standards. The Catering Services Manager is tasked with developing and implementing tailored catering solutions that meet diverse client needs while maintaining a strong client and customer rapport. Their responsibilities extend to the meticulous planning, coordination, and execution of catering events of varying sizes and complexities, ensuring consistent quality and attention to detail.

This position requires the manager to facilitate the delivery and setup of prepared food in accordance with banquet event orders while providing creative and practical solutions to clients during the event planning phase. The Catering Services Manager also takes on the critical role of training and leading catering employees, upholding event standards, and ensuring excellence in the presentation and service of catered events. Additionally, they are responsible for managing food and labor costs, recruiting and developing team members, and ensuring compliance with food safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.

This role is dynamic, requiring a hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to changing duties as necessary to meet Aramark's commitments. Job Requirements

  • Requires at least 2 years of experience
  • Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Available to work event-based hours
  • Must have excellent communications skills
  • Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
  • Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
  • Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
  • Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
  • Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
  • Responsible for delivering food and labor targets
  • Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
  • Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
  • Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
