Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
One year of serving experience preferred
Ability to read write and understand English to communicate effectively
Manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils proficiently
Physical ability to stand walk climb stairs bend stoop reach grasp push pull and work extended periods
Ability to lift carry push or pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

Enhance the overall dining experience for residents family members and guests
Assist in delivery of culinary activities for all dining venues including Bistro Casual Formal Luminations memory care and Club Room
Support special events and private functions with attentive service
Maintain professional friendly courteous and timely conduct embodying The Sterling Touch®
Work under guidance of Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor adhering to Community standards processes procedures and philosophies
Communicate effectively with residents guests and team members to ensure satisfaction
Uphold cleanliness and organization of dining areas during and after service
