Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in event planning or coordination
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale corporate events
  • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to travel as needed for event execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools
  • Commitment to compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute high-quality corporate events that align with Deloitte's brand and business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event goals and objectives, and develop event plans accordingly
  • Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Coordinate with various departments within the organization to ensure all event logistics are properly executed, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual needs, transportation, and accommodations
  • Develop event timelines and oversee event set-up and breakdown
  • Manage event registration, communication, and attendee lists
  • Utilize creative thinking to develop unique and engaging event concepts and experiences
  • Source and manage external vendors, and maintain strong relationships with key partners
  • Communicate event details and updates to internal stakeholders and external attendees
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure event success and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning to continuously enhance event experiences
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior event planning staff
  • Ensure that all events are compliant with company policies and procedures
  • Travel to event locations, as needed, to oversee event execution and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Represent Deloitte in a professional and positive manner at all times
