We are currently seeking an Event Planning Manager to join our esteemed team. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual passionate about creating memorable events. The Event Planning Manager will be pivotal in coordinating all facets of event planning and execution to ensure clients’ needs are impeccably met. This position involves acting as a liaison between customers and the hotel’s sales department, providing clear guidance and supervision during the setup and operation of meetings, banquets, and other special events hosted at the hotel. The successful candidate will be integral in facilitating flawless event experiences by managing logistics related to guest room blocks, food and beverage coordination, public meeting spaces, and billing processes. You will be the go-to point of contact for clients during events, swiftly addressing any challenges and offering creative solutions to optimize client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience
  • at least 1 year of experience in food and beverage
  • proficiency in contract negotiation
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • computer literacy including microsoft office
  • professional appearance
  • effective interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • familiarity with hospitality sales crm software

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
  • 1-year food and beverage experience
  • strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
  • developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • working knowledge of computers and microsoft office
  • present a professional appearance and confidence
  • ability to communicate effectively with public and team members
  • strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • experience with major hospitality sales crm systems

Job Duties
