Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
less than 1 year of related work experience
ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
compliance with company safety policies and procedures
maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
effective communication skills in guest interactions

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent general educational development (ged)
less than 1 year of related work experience
no supervisory experience required
no license or certification required

Job Duties

perform planned preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces such as mattress rotation, inspection, and bed frame assembly
vacuum behind and under furniture
remove stains from carpets and upholstery
dust and touch up paint
ensure all accessories and appliances in rooms are present and functioning properly by replacing lighting fixtures and inspecting grout and caulking
perform minor miscellaneous repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes
thoroughly clean all guest room surfaces including bathtubs, tiles, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors
promptly report serious maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards to manager or supervisor
comply with all company safety policies and procedures, participate in safety training and certifications
maintain professional appearance and uniform
protect company confidential information and property
greet and recognize all guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs
develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals
adhere to quality expectations and standards
perform physical tasks such as stretching, bending, lifting, and moving objects up to 50 pounds, assist with heavier objects
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts
execute other reasonable work duties as assigned
