Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a rapidly expanding, family-owned company dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors across its 60+ communities nationwide. As a leader in the senior living industry, RLC combines the values of respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence to cultivate an environment where seniors not only live but thrive. The company emphasizes a close-knit, servant-hearted community culture where every team member contributes meaningfully to the well-being of residents. This mission is supported through four fundamental goals that guide their daily operations: Happy Employees, Happy Residents, Full Occupancy, and On-Budget Operations. These pillars create a dynamic and rewarding workplace for all employees.

The role of the Part-Time Housekeeper at Resort Lifestyle Communities goes far beyond traditional cleaning duties. This position embodies the spirit of service with a heart, focusing on maintaining a welcoming, neat, and comfortable living environment that feels like home for each resident. Housekeepers at RLC play a crucial role in nurturing genuine connections not only with residents but also with guests and fellow staff members, fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the community.

As a Part-Time Housekeeper, the successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, ensuring consistent and thorough upkeep of residents' apartments and community spaces. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, emptying trash, and assisting with seasonal cleaning tasks such as window and patio maintenance and HVAC filter replacements. Housekeepers will also manage the deep cleaning of apartments between resident move-outs and prepare vacant units for new residents by making sure they are spotless and inviting.

The role also extends to preparing model apartments and guest suites, including vacuuming, sanitizing, washing and restocking linens, and checking HVAC systems to guarantee a pristine experience for potential residents and visitors. Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of common areas is paramount to delivering RLC's standard of hospitality and care. Moreover, housekeepers are expected to keep their cleaning carts, closets, and storage areas organized and clean while strictly adhering to the use of approved cleaning products and personal protective equipment guidelines.

In addition to providing an essential service within the community, housekeepers contribute to the uplifting work environment by being the friendly face residents encounter daily. This position requires at least the basic ability to read, speak, and understand English, with previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, commercial, or residential settings preferred. Also, candidates must be 18 years or older, making it an ideal opportunity for those who want to balance part-time work with other commitments.

Working at RLC offers more than just a job; it offers a chance to make a difference in the lives of seniors every day while enjoying competitive perks such as pay on demand and employee discounts. The company prides itself on supportive leadership and a beautiful, resort-style work environment that promotes a sense of community and well-being. Applicants with a servant's heart who are enthusiastic about creating a positive experience for seniors will find a fulfilling career path here. Join Resort Lifestyle Communities and become part of a family where your efforts are valued and where you can truly clean with heart.
