Job Requirements

  • be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • have reliable transportation
  • be flexible with evenings and weekends during event season
  • possess a valid passport or be willing to obtain one
  • be comfortable with modern technology platforms such as Cvent, Hubspot, Monday.com, and Google Sheets
  • be based in or willing to relocate to the St. Louis area
  • have 3 to 5 years of relevant event planning experience
  • demonstrate passion for event planning as a craft
  • maintain high accountability and professional standards

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate event planning or large-scale nonprofit galas and conferences
  • proficiency with registration platforms such as Cvent, Stova, and Whova
  • strong financial acumen and hotel contract negotiation experience
  • experience managing audiovisual and production logistics
  • excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • ability to work calmly under pressure and proactively solve problems
  • strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • negotiate hotel contracts to optimize company margins
  • design partnership-oriented sponsorship packages
  • build attendee-friendly registration platforms
  • manage vendor relationships including audiovisual providers
  • create signage and manage complex event logistics such as multi-track conferences
  • oversee seamless on-site execution and travel to event locations
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to refining planning processes
