- Develop and present quarterly and annual hiring plans to enhance recruitment strategies
- Ensure timely implementation and alignment of recruitment strategies with organizational objectives
- Analyze recruitment process performance, dashboards and recommend changes
- Update and maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment-related databases
- Formulate and publish job advertisements across various portals and social media platforms
- Screen resumes and job applications, conducting initial phone screens to shortlist qualified candidates
- Conduct in-person interviews for roles spanning from junior to executive levels
- Perform background checks, call references and explain job benefits and company policies to applicants
- Design, distribute and analyze results of candidate experience surveys
- Maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates for future job openings
- Network with potential candidates through professional groups on social media and events
- Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and assessment methods
- Discuss and establish qualification requirements and terms of employment with managers
- Revise HR policies and ensure the implementation of fair employment practices
- Onboard new hires and assist with orientation
- Help develop training programs for recruits and existing workforce
- Grow the number of internal referrals and represent [Company] at external events

Recruitment Specialist Experience Requirements & Skills
- Proven track record as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws and employment equity
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques on social media and specialized professional platforms
- Background in using recruitment software and features such as ATS
- Experience in posting jobs online and crafting job descriptions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication

Recruitment Specialist Education & Qualifications
