Salary: $27–$45/hour

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday

Recruiter Officer Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and implement the recruiting strategy
  • Actively seek out potential candidates through job boards, social media, networking events and other channels
  • Screen resumes and applications
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews
  • Arrange interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Negotiate employment terms with selected candidates and extend job offers
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees
  • Keep track of all candidate interactions, feedback and status

Recruiter Experience Requirements & Skills

  • Relevant work experience
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Experience with recruitment tools, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in negotiating job offers and terms of employment
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with all stages of the recruitment process
  • Demonstrated success in filling various roles, including hard-to-fill positions is a plus

Recruiter Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology or Communications
  • Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) is a plus
  • Certification from the National Association of Personnel Services is a plus
