Job Coach Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized guidance and support tailored to the specific skills, needs and career goals of each job seeker
- Collaborate with partners to develop comprehensive, long-term career plans, considering aspirations and growth opportunities
- Assist job seekers in crafting effective resumes and cover letters and honing interview skills to enhance their employability
- Offer practical support in job searching and application processes and navigating online job platforms to maximize opportunities
- Act as a liaison between job seekers and employers, ensuring effective communication and understanding of expectations on both sides
- Identify opportunities for skill development and recommend relevant training or educational programs to enhance job seekers’ and employees’ capabilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate job performance, identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for success
- Provide hands-on guidance to employees in their workplaces, aiding in adaptation to new roles and overcoming challenges
Job Coach Experience Requirements & Skills
- Proven track record as a Job Coach or in a related role, with at least [Number] years of experience
- Experience in conducting assessments, developing personalized coaching plans and achieving positive outcomes for job seekers
- Familiarity with online job platforms and the ability to guide job seekers in effectively navigating and utilizing these resources
