Job Coach Job Overview

Job Coach Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized guidance and support tailored to the specific skills, needs and career goals of each job seeker
  • Collaborate with partners to develop comprehensive, long-term career plans, considering aspirations and growth opportunities
  • Assist job seekers in crafting effective resumes and cover letters and honing interview skills to enhance their employability
  • Offer practical support in job searching and application processes and navigating online job platforms to maximize opportunities
  • Act as a liaison between job seekers and employers, ensuring effective communication and understanding of expectations on both sides
  • Identify opportunities for skill development and recommend relevant training or educational programs to enhance job seekers’ and employees’ capabilities
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate job performance, identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for success
  • Provide hands-on guidance to employees in their workplaces, aiding in adaptation to new roles and overcoming challenges

Job Coach Experience Requirements & Skills

  • Proven track record as a Job Coach or in a related role, with at least [Number] years of experience
  • Experience in conducting assessments, developing personalized coaching plans and achieving positive outcomes for job seekers
  • Familiarity with online job platforms and the ability to guide job seekers in effectively navigating and utilizing these resources
