Known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Sheraton operates in over 400 communities worldwide. This esteemed hotel brand prioritizes inclusivity, teamwork, and cultural diversity, making it a premier destination for travelers and an ideal workplace for associates who aspire to be part of a dynamic, global community. Sheraton is dedicated to fostering a work environment where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to the company’s goal of becoming 'The World’s Gathering Place.' Located at 400 Olive St, Dallas, Texas, our property is at the heart of a vibrant city and offers an exciting opportunity to join a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage & Culinary department.

The Utility Cleaner role at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence across various departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. As a Utility Cleaner, associates undertake diverse responsibilities crucial for the seamless functioning of hotel operations. This role supports the cleaning and maintenance needs by preparing fresh, clean linens and spotless dining ware, ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional experience. Utility Cleaners operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers, demonstrating versatility and dedication. The role includes transporting dishware and linens between departments efficiently, ensuring the continuous flow of hospitality services.

Success in this role is anchored in a commitment to safety, adherence to company policies, and upholding quality standards. Utility Cleaners must maintain a professional appearance, including wearing the assigned uniform, and communicate effectively with team members. Building positive working relationships and supporting team objectives are essential components of the job. The role involves physical activities such as lifting, moving, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds, along with standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions like bending, twisting, and stooping. Sheraton emphasizes a safe work environment where associates promptly report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to supervisors. Additionally, Utility Cleaners are expected to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors, contributing to the hotel’s overall guest satisfaction and operational success.

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts embraces an equal opportunity employment philosophy and actively promotes diversity and inclusion within its workforce. The brand values the unique backgrounds of all associates and is committed to providing equitable opportunities without discrimination based on disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. This commitment creates a respectful and supportive workplace culture where every team member can thrive. If you are a motivated individual eager to contribute to a globally recognized hospitality leader and enhance the guest experience through your dedication and efforts, this Utility Cleaner position at Sheraton in Dallas offers a rewarding career path.
