Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in administrative or customer service role preferred
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 10 pounds
- Availability to work full-time onsite at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in an administrative or guest services role preferred
- Proficiency in computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
- Enter and retrieve information in computer databases to update records and answer guest inquiries
- Operate standard office equipment other than computers
- Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
- Transmit information or documents using computer, mail, or facsimile machine, including proofreading and editing written information
- Follow company policies and procedures and maintain professional appearance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address guest needs, assist individuals with disabilities
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and departments
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
