The company is currently seeking dedicated and experienced leaders to join its store management team as Assistant Managers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining the high standards of guest experiences Panda Express is known for. Employment with Panda Express includes paid Store Management Leadership Training, which spans at least three weeks, offering hands-on mentorship and support from a tight-knit Panda community. This comprehensive program equips Assistant Managers with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of a single Panda Express store. Your responsibilities will include hiring, managing, and directing store associates to meet financial goals and deliver exceptional customer service. Strong leadership is essential to motivate your team and maintain a productive work atmosphere conducive to success. You will be expected to handle multiple duties ranging from ensuring food safety compliance to managing staff schedules and operational logistics. This role demands flexibility, as schedules typically require availability for opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must be prepared to work within a 50-mile radius of their home location and hold a high school diploma as a minimum educational requirement. The position requires physical endurance, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work efficiently in the fast-paced, often hot and noisy kitchen environment. The role also requires Serve Safe certification, underscoring the company’s commitment to food safety and quality.
