Job Description
Z&G is a premier event planning and catering company specializing in creating unforgettable weddings and special events. With a firm commitment to excellence and personalized service, Z&G ensures that every celebration is not only beautiful but meticulously coordinated from start to finish. Based on strong industry knowledge and an experienced team, Z&G delivers impeccable service that couples and clients trust to craft their dream day with flawless execution and a warm, welcoming approach. The company embodies a dedication to both creativity and precision, managing every detail and vendor interaction to exceed client expectations consistently.
The role of an Event Coordinator at Z&G is integral to the success of each event. This is a hands-on position ideal for a passionate individual who thrives on sharing enthusiasm and using their extensive knowledge of fine dining and hospitality to elevate client experiences. Embracing a warm and positive demeanor, the coordinator guides clients through the entire event planning process — from initial inquiry and intake vetting to finalizing menus, layouts, and decor decisions. The coordinator serves as the main liaison between clients, venues, and vendors to ensure all aspects flow seamlessly. Specifically, this includes organizing venue walkthroughs, creating detailed event timelines, and communicating logistical information to catering and kitchen staff.
This position demands excellence in multitasking and problem-solving, often requiring the ability to think quickly under pressure to maintain the precision and beauty of each event element. Candidates should be comfortable with extended time on their feet and capable of handling physical demands such as lifting items up to 50 pounds. Technical skills are also important, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CRM systems expected to efficiently manage communications and client details.
Ultimately, this role is about embodying a culture of meticulous attention to detail, enthusiastic client service, and a creative yet respectful approach to customizing each event. The Event Coordinator at Z&G doesn’t merely plan events — they help bring to life a unique and memorable experience tailored perfectly to each client’s vision and requirements. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to a dynamic, client-focused company that values passion and precision in the event industry. Candidates with a bachelor's degree are preferred but not required, underscoring the company’s focus on skills, attitude, and experience over formal education credentials.
