Job Requirements
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- availability for part-time schedule with variable days and hours
- ability to follow safety procedures
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and moving supplies
- willingness to work in a healthcare foodservice environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- ability to work as part of a team
- basic communication skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
