Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef
- Proven background in upscale or fine dining establishments
- Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Knowledge of inventory, food costs, and scheduling practices
- Availability for varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef
- Proven background in upscale or fine dining establishments
- Leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide kitchen staff
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining standards
- Knowledge of inventory, food costs, and scheduling practices
- Passion for Japanese culinary traditions with a creative approach
- Experience with Asian or Japanese cooking techniques and ingredient selection
- Formal culinary education or equivalent experience
Job Duties
- Support the Chef in delivering authentic and innovative Japanese cuisine
- Lead and develop kitchen staff to uphold high standards and efficiency
- Maintain quality, presentation, and service standards across all menu items
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Assist with inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure a consistent and exceptional dining experience
