Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef
  • Proven background in upscale or fine dining establishments
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Knowledge of inventory, food costs, and scheduling practices
  • Availability for varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef
  • Proven background in upscale or fine dining establishments
  • Leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide kitchen staff
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining standards
  • Knowledge of inventory, food costs, and scheduling practices
  • Passion for Japanese culinary traditions with a creative approach
  • Experience with Asian or Japanese cooking techniques and ingredient selection
  • Formal culinary education or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Support the Chef in delivering authentic and innovative Japanese cuisine
  • Lead and develop kitchen staff to uphold high standards and efficiency
  • Maintain quality, presentation, and service standards across all menu items
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Assist with inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure a consistent and exceptional dining experience
