The role of Cashier at Chuck E. Cheese presents an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers as well as those seeking to build a rewarding career in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Cashiers are the frontline ambassadors of guest service, responsible for taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prizes, and creating a positive, fun experience for guests. This position is hourly, with compensation ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour and an enticing commission structure. Exempt employees can earn commissions from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and between $0.15 and $3.00 per Fun Pass sale, with commissions paid out bi-weekly unless state law dictates otherwise. Non-exempt employees similarly enjoy commission potentials ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. The company’s unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows employees to access earned wages without waiting for the regular paycheck cycle, supporting financial flexibility.
Beyond the financial benefits, this role requires energetic, enthusiastic individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service. The physical demands include lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment is lively and may feature flashing lights, mechanical parts in motion, and loud noises—perfect for those energized by dynamic, interactive settings. Chuck E. Cheese prioritizes health and safety with rigorous sanitation standards and operational procedures that meet or exceed local requirements.
Employees at CEC Entertainment gain access to a competitive benefits package designed to support their health, financial security, and well-being. All team members benefit from telemedicine services, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees have options for fixed indemnity medical coverage, and voluntary dental, vision, life, and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5 or more hours weekly are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
