The Cashier position at SNIPES is a part-time, regular employment opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.40 to $18.04. This role is pivotal in delivering excellent customer service and managing all customer transactions at the point of sale (POS). The Cashier contributes directly to the store's sales performance, ensuring daily goals and KPIs are met or exceeded, including sales targets, productivity measures, and customer conversion rates. Beyond transaction management, the Cashier is responsible for maintaining the brand image and the visual appeal of the store, ensuring it reflects SNIPES’ dynamic and youthful identity. This role demands a person who is enthusiastic about youth culture and the SNIPES brand, as well as someone who excels in customer engagement, communication, and teamwork.

Additional responsibilities include participating in promotional activities and sales incentives, developing customer relationships, and maintaining awareness of merchandise and inventory needs. In collaboration with Store Management and other key partners such as Human Resources, District Managers, and Asset Protection, the Cashier helps uphold company standards regarding personal grooming, performance, and customer service excellence. This position is ideal for individuals who are goal-oriented, adaptable, disciplined, and keen to learn in a fast-paced retail environment. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting weights up to 30 pounds. Job Duties

  • demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual goals
  • achieve or exceed all established goals including sales, hourly productivity average dollar sale (ADS), units per transaction (UPT), conversion (if applicable), charge accounts and contests, and any other brand specific KPI’s
  • have a complete working knowledge and use of selling skills and customer service standards as set forth in company training programs
  • develop and maintain relationships with customers through a friendly attitude and excellent customer service
  • actively participate in all contests, promotions, and sales incentive programs
  • meet company standards for appearance, performance, knowledge and personal grooming
  • maintain an awareness of all sales promotions and effectively handle multiple customers and projects
  • understand and communicate customer merchandise needs and communicate with store management when the stores merchandise assortment meets, and fails to meet, the needs in your area
  • ensure consistent control of merchandise and maintain cash wrap daily as directed
  • demonstrate professionalism when dealing with customers and answer the telephone in a friendly and professional manner
