Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- proficiency in using computers and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- previous retail or related industry experience is a plus

Job Duties
- Engage with customers, greet, and assist them to create a positive shopping experience
- help customers find the right products, provide recommendations and offer solutions for their projects
- stock and organize merchandise to maintain a clean, well-presented store
- answer phone calls in a polite and timely manner, addressing customer inquiries
- assist with inventory-related tasks, including performing cycle counts, verifying stock levels and maintaining accurate records
- upsell related items and promote the Do It Best reward program to build loyalty
- follow company standards and procedures to ensure smooth store operations
- process checkouts accurately, adhering to proper cash handling procedures
- continuously expand knowledge of products across all departments to enhance service and identify selling opportunities
- address and resolve customer issues with management support
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- complete all assigned training to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies
- assist in other departments/functions as needed to provide great customer service
- perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
