Job Description
Indeed Flex is a dynamic staffing platform that partners with a variety of upscale venues and private event clients across the Dallas-Fort Worth area to provide exceptional temporary event server staffing solutions. Specializing in servicing luxury events, fine dining experiences, and private functions, Indeed Flex works closely with clients to match skilled professionals with events requiring high-end hospitality expertise. Their flexible staffing model offers workers the opportunity to choose shifts that fit their lifestyle, making it an ideal choice for those seeking part-time or event-based employment. The company prides itself on its commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, fostering a welcoming workplace where diversity is celebrated and every team member feels valued and supported. Indeed Flex also prioritizes providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals, ensuring accessible employment for all candidates.
As an Event Server with Indeed Flex, you will be an essential member of the hospitality team supporting a wide range of upscale events throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, service style, and specific event scope. You will be scheduled primarily for weekday lunches, dinners, weekend evening shifts, and select special events, giving you the flexibility to work shifts that complement your availability.
The Event Server position demands a high level of professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, and an acute attention to detail to deliver flawless service at formal plated dinners, cocktail receptions, canapé tray services, and large-scale banquets. Your role will include greeting guests warmly, taking orders confidently with a strong knowledge of the menu, and delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables or service points. You will be responsible for maintaining an immaculate dining environment by efficiently clearing and resetting tables and assisting in opening and closing station duties such as silverware polishing.
Given the nature of the events served, this role requires the ability to handle tray service, including shoulder-supported trays, and move gracefully through the event space offering hors d'oeuvres and beverages. At large banquets, you will help prepare tables and buffet stations ahead of guest arrival, run food and drinks during service, help maintain service flow during high volume periods, and assist with post-event cleanup, breakdown, and inventory tasks.
Candidates who bring prior experience in fine dining, luxury events, banquet services, or upscale hospitality settings will find this position both rewarding and well-suited to their skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse team and clientele. Holding a current Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
The successful Event Server will present a calm and professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent team coordination and a service-forward approach to meet high guest expectations. This role demands physical stamina as standing for extended periods and carrying trays is routine. Throughout your shifts, you will contribute to creating memorable guest experiences that reflect the high standards of Indeed Flex's esteemed clients.
Indeed Flex emphasizes a culture of fairness and equal opportunity, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds, including those with prior criminal records. This commitment to fair chance hiring ensures that every qualified candidate has access to meaningful employment opportunities.
