Salary: $37,000–$149,000

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), with the possibility of overtime beyond 40 hours per week

Relationship Manager Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of customers and develop plans to meet those needs effectively
  • Educate customers about the company’s products, services and special offers
  • Swiftly and efficiently resolve customer complaints
  • Assess and manage potential risks associated with client relationships
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and suggest improvements to enhance client satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze sales and customer engagement metrics
  • Provide regular reports to management on the status of client relationships, sales activities and other relevant metrics
  • Implement customer retention programs and loyalty initiatives
  • Develop and maintain a detailed customer database for effective communication
  • Identify key personnel in client organizations to foster profitable relationships
  • Forward potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the customer base
  • Strive to retain customers and renew contracts
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of competitors in the market
  • Meet sales targets
  • Coordinate and participate in industry events and conferences
  • Ensure that all client interactions adhere to ethical standards and legal regulations

Relationship Manager Experience Requirements & Skills

  • Proven track record as a Relationship Manager
  • Ability to negotiate terms, contracts and agreements beneficial for both the client and the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Aptitude for cultivating positive relationships
  • Strong teamwork, leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
  • Self-motivated, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
