Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday
HR Assistant Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage employee records
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in documentation
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates and coordinating interviews
- Manage employee inquiries
- Coordinate training and development programs, scheduling sessions and tracking participation
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Facilitate new employee onboarding
- Prepare materials and organizing orientation sessions
- Maintain HR databases and systems
- Help organize company events and employee engagement activities
- Prepare HR reports and presentations
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives and initiatives
HR Assistant Experience Requirements & Skills
- Experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases
HR Assistant Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- Certification from the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) is a plus
- Certification from the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is a plus
