HR Advisor Job Overview
We are looking for an HR Advisor to play a key role in optimizing human resources functions and contributing to the overall efficiency of [Company Name].

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 a year
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday, with the possibility of overtime beyond 40 hours per week
HR Advisor Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expert counsel on human resource policies and procedures
- Guide employee recruitment and retention efforts
- Evaluate and assess employee performance
- Maintain positive employee relations within the organization
- Design and implement company policies
- Review and update job descriptions
- Offer training to hiring managers on effective interview evaluation techniques
- Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback
- Identify areas for improvement in HR processes
- Recommend and implement HR technology solutions (e.g., ATS, HRIS software)
- Track essential recruitment metrics like turnover and retention rates
- Address employee requests and potential issues, including grievances
- Assist in organizing employer branding initiatives
- Act as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a healthy work environment
- Ensure the Human Resources department aligns with and contributes to achieving business goals
HR Advisor Experience Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in an HR role
- Strong understanding of human resource policies, procedures and best practices
- Demonstrated experience in employee recruitment and retention
- Familiarity with labor legislation and regulations
- Training experience, particularly in providing interview evaluation techniques to hiring managers
- Knowledge of HR technology solutions, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic HR environment
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
HR Advisor Education & Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is a plus
- Additional certifications in specialized HR areas are beneficial
