Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as sous chef of a high volume kitchen
- experience hiring, training and mentoring kitchen staff
- understanding and ability to oversee cost control and labor management
- effective and clear communicator
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- proven history of excellent event execution
- creative abilities inside the kitchen
- ability to speak and understand Spanish
- basic computer skills including Excel, Word, inventory platform, and online scheduling

Job Duties
- Create and develop menus appropriate to the concept
- create and maintain an upbeat and professional environment in the kitchen
- hire and train new kitchen staff
- maintain a safe and clean work environment compliant with all health department standards
- maintain food quality standards
- execute catering BEOs and communicate with event planners and sales people
- plan menus and execute in proper timelines to execute events properly
- uphold excellent food quality through transportation to venue and holding
- establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet or exceed budgeted labor
- order, record and maintain all inventory stock including food, beverages, and kitchen supplies
