Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior culinary or restaurant leadership experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • A valid driver’s license for shift coverage and related tasks
  • Experience mentoring and training hourly team members
  • Knowledge of inventory management, cost of goods, and financial oversight
  • Capability to stand and walk for 8-10 hour shifts
  • Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proficiency with kitchen equipment including wok, mixer, slicer, and buffalo chopper
  • Ability to work in varying temperature levels

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of prior culinary or restaurant leadership experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Experience mentoring and training hourly team members
  • Knowledge of inventory management, cost of goods, and financial oversight
  • Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment including wok, mixer, slicer, and buffalo chopper
  • Proper knife skills
  • Ability to work in varying kitchen temperature levels
  • Prior experience in restaurant leadership in casual or upscale dining preferred
  • Experience with restaurant chains or franchises preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead a high-volume, scratch kitchen culinary team
  • Ensure effective preparation and execution of menu items
  • Provide clear guidance to kitchen staff throughout the shift
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering a memorable culinary experience
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire culinary team members for growth
  • Foster a positive, family-oriented work environment
  • Assist with scheduling, interviewing, and hiring processes
  • Provide constructive feedback and recognition to staff
  • Maintain product quality standards through regular line checks
  • Engage in prep and line cooking as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all state safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Contribute to building sales and maximizing financial success
  • Assist with cost control and inventory management as directed
