Job Description

Marriott Dallas Uptown, located at 3033 Fairmount St, Dallas, Texas, is part of the world-renowned Marriott International, a leader in luxury hospitality with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Known for its refined service and upscale amenities, Marriott Dallas Uptown offers guests a sophisticated environment in one of Dallas's most vibrant neighborhoods. The hotel seamlessly blends local culture with Marriott's dedication to quality, making it a preferred destination for both leisure and business travelers. As part of Marriott International, this property upholds the company's core values of inclusivity, respect, and opportunity, fostering a workplace where associates feel valued and empowered. The hotel's position within Marriott's extensive portfolio means it benefits from global standards of excellence alongside a unique, localized guest experience.

The role of Bartender at Marriott Dallas Uptown is far more than simply preparing drinks. Bartenders at this location act as key ambassadors of the hotel's hospitality philosophy, crafting memorable, unique guest experiences through expert beverage service and genuine interpersonal interaction. This full-time, non-management position calls for individuals who are not only skilled in mixology but who also thrive in dynamic environments, eagerly seeking out new beverage trends and local offerings to enhance the bar's appeal. Bartenders serve as both beverage enthusiasts and hosts of the space, extending their influence beyond the bar to contribute broadly to guest satisfaction. They take ownership of the entire guest service experience, focusing on attention to detail and flawless execution, from handling transactions accurately to ensuring drink quality and presentation meet high standards.

Working at Marriott Dallas Uptown means embracing a culture of safety, professionalism, and hospitality. Bartenders must be ready to engage physically with tasks such as lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods. The job demands a hands-on approach, flexibility, and a team-minded attitude, all essential for maintaining the high standards expected by the hotel and its guests. This position offers not only an opportunity to grow within a respected global brand but also to be part of a community that celebrates diversity, innovation, and consistent excellence. Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer, honoring the diverse backgrounds and talents of its associates, which enriches the work environment and fosters a culture of respect and collaboration.

Marriott Hotels, including the JW Marriott brand within the luxury segment, emphasize the importance of associating their brand with thoughtful, heartfelt service that continually elevates the guest experience. Joining Marriott Dallas Uptown means contributing to this legacy of hospitality and being part of a team where you can truly be your best, belong to a global community, and pursue your professional passions in a supportive, enriching environment. This is a chance to work where your efforts create wonderful hospitality every day, helping guests experience a unique and personal stay through your commitment and care.
