The position available is a full-time Substitute Housekeeper role with a competitive pay range of $30.24 to $40.32 per hour, classified as a non-management role. Housekeeping team members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall ambiance of the guest rooms and public areas. This position requires prompt and professional service in response to guest requests as well as collaboration with other hotel departments. Duties include replenishing guest amenities, changing linens and terry, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and ensuring all in-room appliances and furnishings are present and in good condition. Attention to detail in dusting, polishing, and floor care is essential to creating a welcoming environment that meets the high expectations of luxury travelers.

Job Requirements
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance
- Ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to comply with company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements

Job Duties
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
- Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
- Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
- Make beds and fold terry
- Clean bathrooms
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallways)
