Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • One year of collegiate or professional stadium and/or large arena event management experience
  • Experience in leading part-time staff and vendors
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours
  • Effective communication skills
  • Decision-making under pressure
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Availability to work flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Experience leading part-time staff and vendors
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours
  • Ability to make decisions in pressure situations
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Experience in Division 1 Power-5 athletic programs preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, CAD, or Photoshop preferred
  • Master's degree in Sport Management or related field preferred
  • Two years of collegiate or professional football stadium event management preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate planning and execution of athletic events
  • Serve as main point of contact for game operations
  • Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, and evaluate temporary and student staff
  • Collaborate with internal and external departments and agencies
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate event management services
  • Manage budgeting and staffing for outside contracted events
  • Train staff in NCAA, Big Ten, and university policies and procedures
