The Event Manager role at DLP Capital is a critical position responsible for planning, executing, and managing a variety of events ranging from large-scale, multi-program conferences to single-day meetings. Reporting directly to the Senior Event Manager, this role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational skills who can oversee every aspect of event management. Key responsibilities include budgeting, vendor coordination, on-site execution, and maintaining alignment with the company's goals and marketing strategies. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, communications, and project management, as well as external vendors, to ensure each event delivers an exceptional attendee experience.

Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Marketing, project managers, and marketing teams to align event planning with marketing goals
- implement and maintain an updated comprehensive events calendar
- develop, implement, and update checklists and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
- manage all event logistics including venue selection, food and beverage, audiovisual setups, transportation, accommodations, and on-site management
- oversee large production stages and AV setups ensuring seamless execution
- coordinate with business leaders, speakers, and talent for last-minute changes
- adhere to established processes, timelines, and budget constraints
- develop and manage event budgets ensuring financial compliance and ROI
- review and approve event-related expenses
- identify cost-saving opportunities
- document and track all events in project management systems
- lead hiring and coordination of external vendors
- build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners
- create and implement feedback processes to improve future events
- work with leadership to set attendance targets and drive registration
- coordinate post-event activities including publicity and multimedia content
- provide detailed performance reports
- maintain and update the events calendar
