Sales Administrator Duties & Responsibilities
- Issue sales transaction invoices with attention to detail
- Verify orders, including customers’ personal information and payment details
- Contact customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
- Compile monthly sales reports to assess performance
- Expedite orders through internal coordination for timely fulfillment
- Identify new products to enhance the product offerings
- Support the sales department with additional administrative tasks when required
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally for improvement
- Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations promptly
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in organizing sales events, ensuring seamless logistics and on-site support
- Generate client leads and work towards increasing the customer base
- Support the Accounting department in collecting due invoices
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide regular reports based on the relevant activities of the role
Sales Administrator Experience Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in sales administration or a similar role
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience with industry software like HubSpot CRM, Freshsales or similar
- Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal abilities
