Plant Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily plant operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop the plant workforce
- Hire and train new employees
- Execute strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality and cost efficiency
- Control and oversee budget allocation and expenses
- Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Continuously improve production processes and systems
- Implement corrective actions
- Evaluate and report on operational performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Identify and troubleshoot operational or production issues promptly
