Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Manager Food Protection Certification
- Culinary Certificate
- Active CA Drivers License
- One year of culinary training
- Three years of culinary experience including planning, developing, and implementing recipes and menus, with at least one year of leadership responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Complex problem solving abilities
- Team development expertise
- Strategic planning and systems planning/development capabilities
- Knowledge of computer word processing and spreadsheets
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Coordinate operational systems for Food and Nutrition Services including menu planning and food ordering
- Oversee patient meal service, cafeteria, catering, hot and cold food production
- Manage emergency meal preparation, purchasing, inventory management, and control
- Develop recipes and implement menus ensuring sanitation, nutrition, and financial standards are met
- Supervise operations to maintain marketing and meal presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop team members to achieve department goals
