Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent training
  • minimum two years of event operations experience
  • intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • ability to perform research and analysis
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work on-site in Sonoma, California
  • willingness to comply with CSU residency policy
  • ability to pass background check

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent training
  • two years of event operations experience
  • intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • proficiency with Google Suite
  • knowledge of basic audiovisual equipment
  • experience with scheduling software
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Duties

  • plan and perform research related to Student Center and event operations
  • participate in developing, implementing, altering, and evaluating policies and procedures
  • coordinate tasks to sustain safe and efficient operations of the Student Center
  • communicate and coordinate with on and off campus clients to organize activities and special events
  • provide lead work direction to assigned student assistants
  • evaluate and report on customer satisfaction, workflow, procedures, and staff efficiency
  • recommend student staffing structure and budget allocations
