This role is a dynamic position based in the NWK-Clark, NJ location, focused on event coordination, customer experience, and operational store responsibilities. The position involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating various events within the store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. The goal is to deliver a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience that fosters creativity and enjoyment for guests ranging from young children to seniors. The role requires a candidate who can interact with a diverse clientele, be highly organized, and capable of multitasking across different responsibilities.

In addition to event coordination, the job entails providing exceptional customer service by assisting guests in shopping, locating products, and offering solutions that enhance their overall experience. It includes managing fast and friendly checkout operations and engaging customers with the store’s rewards program and credit card offerings. The role also supports omni-channel retail processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), which are essential for a modern retail environment.

Operational duties further encompass merchandise management such as unloading trucks, stocking shelves, maintaining store recovery standards, and executing planograms. The position also involves supporting store initiatives on shrink and safety while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

The job demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes, work on ladders, and maintain a high-energy, enthusiastic demeanor. The work environment is public-facing, climate-controlled in customer areas, with some exposure to stockrooms and occasional outdoor tasks.

This is a full-time position with a base pay range of $16.25 to $19.10 per hour and may qualify for overtime compensation depending on state and local laws.
