Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in restaurant management or similar role
- current food management certification
- flexibility for scheduling including weekends and holidays
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- physical stamina to stand and move at a moderate pace for sustained periods
- basic math and computer skills
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to transfer locations
- ability to read and write English
Job Qualifications
- have current food management certification
- possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality
- have flexibility for scheduling
- be willing to transfer to a different geographical location
- have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- be adept at ordering and formulating pars
- have basic math skills including counting currency and making change, and using a calculator for basic operations
- have basic computer skills
- understand and facilitate proper health code standards
- adhere to hiring policy and conduct interviews in a timely fashion
- issue written evaluations for positive and/or negative performance
- be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- be able to read and write English
- have the physical stamina to stand and move for up to four hours at a moderate pace, working 50 to 55 hours per week
- be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- be able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- have the coordination necessary to operate kitchen equipment
- adhere to dress and grooming policies
Job Duties
- communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
- read as well as write (in English) notes in the manager's daily log
- attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings
- read the weekly memo
- complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
- communicate with all m.o.d. when shift is completed
- relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
- comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
- attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
